Have played Terraforming Mars a few times now and it just gets better. Well worth a pop. Bristle away Cougar, Yahtzee is still one of my favourite games, good numbers game to teach kids to help them learn adding up, number patterns and a bit of strategy too. Lots of expansions available too. It never gets mentioned in these threads but I love, absolutely love London 2nd ed. Looks like a deckbuilder or a city builder, actually is a rube goldberg machine designer game in disguise.

Not sure if 7 Wonders has been mentioned yet. On the face of it the gameplay is complex but once learned, it is actually very simple.
