Error Code I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it seems to put the same driver right back. And a few more questions:. Was this a clean install of Windows 10, or an upgrade? Did you specifically install those drivers yourself after the upgrade? Not suggesting that you did anything wrong here : But what I normally see is that the Microsoft drivers would be the ones loaded after the Windows 10 install.
I only need it for one of the controllers. My Windows 10 install was an upgrade from Windows 7. I don't have AI Suite installed. I believe it was installed prior to the Windows 10 upgrade but I don't see any entry for it under Control Panel, Programs. I specifically installed the USB 3. They were all that I could find. I even searched Backup Driver folders and nothing works! The Dell driver update tool will not work in Safe Mode.
Microsoft has repliede to this problem by saying that Dell preinstalled the OEM OS and they would be the ones to supply the driver and the solution. Yes, I did use Device Manager to delete the corrupted drivers, and tried to update the files on reboot! I moved the pointer over continue anyway, then pressed the Enter button; but, because the stop installation button was highlighted I was cancelling the installation Browse Community.
